Privacy Policy
Deadline Bar collects no data. No account, no analytics, no tracking. Nothing leaves your Mac unless you send it.
Deadline Bar is made by K68 Studio (“we”). This policy covers the Mac app and its website, deadlinebar.app. Effective October 8, 2026.
- Your deadlines, groups and settings are saved on your Mac, in the app’s sandboxed folder.
- Purchases go through the Mac App Store; Apple tells the app whether you have Pro, and we never see your details.
- Your Mac account’s name, shown on Share My Month and the Pro Card if you leave it on, is read on your Mac and never sent.
- Reminders and Calendar stay on your Mac. When you choose to show them, the app reads them there, and marking a reminder done in Deadline Bar completes it in Reminders.
- Send Feedback opens an email in your own mail app; nothing is sent until you send it.
- After a crash or a hang, the app may offer to email its technical report to us; it holds no deadlines, and nothing is sent unless you send that email.
- Emails you send us are used only to answer you and to fix the app, and kept only as long as that takes.
- The website sets no cookies, runs no analytics, and stores nothing in your browser. Our host, Cloudflare, processes each request that loads a page (such as your IP address and browser) only to serve and protect the site; we don’t receive or keep those logs.
- Emails reach us through Cloudflare Email Routing and our mail provider; purchases go through Apple. We share nothing with anyone else, and any service that handles your data for us, the website’s requests or your email, gives it the same protection this policy describes.
Your choices
Turn off access to Reminders, Calendar or notifications in System Settings at any time. To delete your data, delete it in the app, or delete the app and its folder in ~/Library/Containers. Ask us (see Contact) to see or delete any email you sent, and we will.
